Global Go and Global Go Analytics Participate in Creation of the 100 Most Influential People in Cannabis in Global Cannabis Times
What do Mary Bailey, Dr. David Meiri, Kim Rivers and Snoop Dogg have in common? Not much, except that they, along with 96 other people, have just been named the 100 Most Influential People in Cannabis by Global Cannabis Times magazine.

“We set out to make…our inaugural list as rigorous as possible,” wrote editor in chief Damon Poeter in the March-April issue. “We created 10 different categories of influence so the list wouldn’t be dominated by a group like corporate CEOs or big-name celebrities but would also include chefs and scientists and activists.” Plus, cultivators, retailers, brand-builders, financiers, regulators, podcasters, market researchers, and more.
Global Go partnered with SmartWork Media last year to launch Global Cannabis Times with the stated intent of “making the cannabis world smaller one interview at a time.” Regular features like The GCT Interview, 3 Questions With, and They Said It appear in each issue to support the mission of introducing people in the industry to each other. Now the first annual 100 Most Influential People feature accelerates the process of demonstrating “that cannabis is a vibrant, dynamic industry and culture that is home to people from all walks of life and from all around the world,” said Poeter. “It's home to leaders who are incorporating the plant into the myriad ways they utilize their skills and express their talents.”
“To the ranks of those that ‘express their talents’ in cannabis now add Damon Poeter and SmartWork group design director Victor Cantal,” said Global Go Analytics CEO Tom Adams, “who have created a carefully researched and visually dazzling 26-page feature in the March-April edition Global Cannabis Times.” Details on the methodology that went into selecting the 100, and their 500-plus industry colleagues that were also nominated, can be found at globalcannabistimes.com.
