Juan Manual Galan

We are honored to have former Senator Juan Manual Galán as our keynote speaker. He served as Senator of Colombia for three consecutive periods from 2006-2018, during which he was instrumental in promoting the most important drug policy reform in Colombia including the medical cannabis law.


Our webinar will be hosted by our very own Paul Rosen, Executive Chairman of Global Go. Rosen is an early pioneer in the globalized cannabis industry, having been a co-founder of PharmaCan Capital Corp (now Cronos Group) and served as its first CEO and President. Rosen has advised and/or invested in more than 150 companies in the cannabis industry.

Silvia Munoz Campos, Government Affairs Manager for International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute.

Silvia is an entrepreneur, activist, and marketing professional within the cannabis industry. She holds a Master of Science in International Marketing and Business Development, and currently serves as the Government Affairs Manager for the International Cannabis and Cannabinoids Institute’s Latin American division. Prior to that she served as a project manager for High Times Espanol where she was responsible for content creation and article translation. Silvia works as a contributing writer for Benzinga, Yahoo Finance, High Times, ElPlanteo and Seedman.

Lucas Nosiglia

Lucas Nosiglia, Chief Agricultural Officer, Avicanna

A seasoned entrepreneur and executive with experience across Europe, North America and South America, Lucas has been at the forefront of Avicanna’s Latin America (LATAM) operations since the company’s inception in 2016. His innovative and transformative approach in navigating the cannabis industry and his former involvement in management consulting, finance and health care have been invaluable in establishing and operating the company’s Colombian subsidiaries including two fully operational cultivation projects that act as Avicanna’s supply chain. Lucas’ wealth of experience from working at Deloitte along with his exceptional management capabilities and leadership values are at the core of his success in leading Avicanna’s largest teams. Lucas graduated with an Honours degree from Faculty of Economics of University of Buenos Aires and holds a Masters degree in Finance from EADA in Barcelona Spain.

Kyle Detwiler

Kyle Detwiler, CEO, Clever Leaves

Kyle Detwiler is CEO of Clever Leaves. Prior to the integration of Northern Swan and Clever Leaves in 2019, Detwiler served as CEO and co-founder of Northern Swan Holdings as well as co-founded Silver Swan Capital, an investment firm focused on niche and underfollowed sectors. He was also a Principal at The Blackstone Group, a leading alternative investment manager with $472 billion in assets under management. As an early member of the Tactical Opportunities Fund, Detwiler was involved in the management and served as a board member of seven investments with roughly $1 billion of Blackstone capital. Detwiler was previously a member of the private equity practice at KKR, focusing on transactions in the oil and gas, energy, natural resource and health care sectors. He began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. Detwiler graduated with distinction from Harvard Business School and cum laude from Princeton University.

Juan David Rojas

Juan David Rojas, CEO and Co-Founder, Cannadrop

After working at the Colombian Development Bank (Bancoldex) in the Investment in Private Equity Funds area for _ years, Juan has held the position of Financial Manager in several companies in different sectors, designing and executing different investment and fundraising processes. Subsequently, Juan has more than 8 years of experience in Business Valuation, Financial Consulting, and raising of Investment Capital. He is currently the co-founder and General Manager of Cannadrop, a Cannabis company in the Cundinamarca region, Colombia. Additionally, for the last 5 years he has worked as a Professor and Mentor at the Entrepreneurship Center of the Universidad del Rosario, his alma mater, where he studied International Business Administration at the Universidad del Rosario, being awarded different recognitions for his high performance. He also studied in Barcelona and finally completed a Master in Corporate Finance at CESA.

Mario Pinzon

Mario Pinzon, CEO and Founder, Siacomex and Global Go Colombia

Mario Pinzon, along with his sister Laura Pinzon, helps run SIACOMEX, a family-owned leading logistics company of some 25 years based in Bogotá, Colombia.  Their clientele includes Fortune companies like Chevron, H&M and Louis Vuitton.  Mario founded the SIACOMEX Cannabis Division in 2019, and occupies the position of Chief Strategic Officer, seeking to advance cannabis logistics and its ancillary international opportunities across the Colombia border. The clientele of SIACOMEX Cannabis Division includes most of the major Colombian companies in the legalized cannabis industry.  SIACOMEX is the first company in Colombia to trade legal cannabis across borders.  In doing so, SIACOMEX crafted the regulatory and commercial framework for the exportation of legalized cannabis from Colombia.
