Ohio Cannabis Application & Licensing
Ohio has become the 24th state in the United States to legalize cannabis for adult use, marking a significant milestone in the state's evolving approach to cannabis regulation. Starting June 7, 2024, Ohio’s Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) will commence adult-use licensing for its existing medical cannabis operators, which includes retail dispensaries, cultivators, and processors. The DCC then will be tasked with issuing another round to new applicants, although that timeline has not been established yet.
