Webinar: China: Tomorrow’s Biggest CBD Market

Please join us for our free webinar, “China: Tomorrow’s Biggest CBD Market” on Tuesday, November 17th at 4PM Pacific Standard Time (Wednesday, November 18th at 8AM China Standard Time).

The liberalization of hemp regulations in China today is reminiscent of early cannabis legalization in North America in 2013. While THC remains strictly prohibited in China, the recent rapid growth of the worldwide CBD market has prompted the Chinese government to develop the legal framework necessary to enable the domestic production, and some forms of consumption, of non-psychoactive cannabinoids. Drawing parallels from Western markets, we expect the accelerating development of the Chinese CBD industry, from hemp cultivation all the way to CBD consumption in the coming years. The structural advantages that have made China the world’s manufacturing center extend to CBD production, and China’s consumption capacity, with 1.4 billion increasingly affluent consumers, matching and even surpassing the US in several categories, leads us to believe that China is the world’s largest emerging market for CBD.

Our webinar will be hosted by our very own Paul Rosen, Executive Chairman of Global Go. Rosen is an early pioneer in the globalized cannabis industry, having been a co-founder of PharmaCan Capital Corp (now Cronos Group) and served as its first CEO and President. Rosen has advised and/or invested in more than 150 companies in the cannabis industry.
