Global Go Connect Webinar June 2nd!

Global Go invites you to join us for our cannabis webinar, “Distressed Assets: Opportunities & Restructuring Challenges in the Cannabis Industry” Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00 am (PST)/1:00 pm (EST).

We are honored to have Fiona Ma, California’s 34th State Treasurer, as our keynote speaker. She was elected on November 6, 2018, the first woman of color and the first woman Certified Public Accountant (CPA) elected to the position. The Treasurer works closely with the State Legislature to ensure that its members know the state’s financial condition as they consider new legislation. After the passage of Proposition 64, the Treasurer was invited to join a 17-member working group made up of members of the cannabis industry, banking and financial services sector, state licensing officials and related tax collecting agencies. As a result of her experience analyzing the regulatory and financial challenges facing the cannabis industry, Treasurer Ma is an avid supporter of the proposed SAFE Banking Act, which would provide a “safe harbor” for banks and credit unions wishing to accommodate cannabis businesses in states who have approved the legal use of either medical and/or recreational cannabis.

Our webinar will be hosted by our very own Paul Rosen, Executive Chairman of Global Go. Rosen is an early pioneer in the globalized cannabis industry, having been a co-founder of PharmaCan Capital Corp (now Cronos Group) and served as its first CEO and President. Rosen has advised and/or invested in more than 150 companies in the cannabis industry.

We will host a panel of speakers representing different perspectives of the cannabis industry.

Distressed Assets: Opportunities & Restructuring Challenges in the Cannabis Industry
